Presidency sources told SaharaReporters today that Mrs. Jonathan will return to the country as early as tomorrow if everything works as planned.
Mrs. Jonathan was secretly flown out of Abuja nearly six weeks ago, at the end of August, after she developed complications from a cosmetic procedure she had undertaken in Dubai.

Over the weekend the news of the four students ofUniversity of Port Harcourt murdered in Aluu Community of Rivers State Nigeria on Friday, has been the most talked about. The heartbreaking video of the barbaric act has widely spread across the nation and in diaspora.
Different stories as to what actually led to their murder are circulating and the real truth is yet to be known. Whether they were cultists, or robbers, the act was not only demonic but the violation of human rights, nobody is guilty until proven to be so. If the ordinary men in a little village of Aluu can do this, how then are we different from the Boko Harams?. According to reports, the Rivers State Police command have arrested some suspects including the Community Chief.
Also according to reports this morning, the villagers are said to be fleeing from the community as some students plot attack to avenge the deaths of Ugonna, Llyod, Tekana and Chidiaka. Is this really what we should be doing?. We don’t support violent and we don’t believe in “Revenge by Shedding of Blood”. President Goodluck Jonathan to address the nation on Tuesday

Confirmed: 30 killed by military in Maiduguri today

The Associated Press has confirmed that Nigerian soldiers today killed at least 30 civilians in the northeaster city of Maiduguri.
The soldiers were retaliating following the killing of one of their officers, a lieutenant.
According to the report, “The attack came from soldiers attached to a special military unit on guard in Maiduguri, the spiritual home of the sect known as Boko Haram, in an effort to supposedly protect its citizens from the violence gripping the city. Murder of 4 UNIPORT students: An exclusive story behind their death

The brutal murder of the Four students of the University of Port Harcourt has become a major source of worry to many Nigerians who feel that human lives have no value as far as the country is concerned.
Since the incident, many people have advocated for the immediate arrest of those behind the heinous act and possibly charge them if found guilty. While some have continued to advocate for death sentence, others advocate for life imprisonment.
However, Daily Post investigation reveals that none of the four murdered students was involved in robbery or any kind of pilfering. Our correspondent spoke with an anonymous colleague of the late Llyod and Ugo whom he said were aspiring musicians and his colleagues.
It was gathered from the source that Ugo and Lloyd were cousins. Someone was indebted to Ugo around the community and had vowed not to pay. Ugo who was popularly known as Tipsy had gone to meet with a fearless University guy (name-withheld) to help them track the debtor who had been on the run. The guy who was feared by many in the school had accepted to accompany his friends to get the debtor tracked down and get his own percentage of the money. They were joined by their room mate, Chidiaka. On their way to the place, they met one of their friends, Tekena, who knew nothing about the plan, and he joined, just for the hype as it’s normal with young boys of juvenile age.
They were actually 5 that got to the debtor’s compound. Unknown to the other four, the “Confra” guy who was contracted to intimidate the debtor just to get the money paid went with a gun .When they got to the guy’s house around 12am, fight ensued, as the debtor confronted them. A next door neighbour, a woman started shouting on top of her voice, that they were thieves, attracting other bad boys around the areas, whom they said were mainly “vickins”, rival cult group of the one on contract. They swung into action by tipping the vigilantee who confronted the boys, referring to them as thieves. At the process of beating the boys, and while they were trying to explain, the fifth ‘guy’,the cultist brought out his gun to scare the people, and he escaped, leaving the rest four at the mercy of the villagers.
The explanation they tried to give fell on the community’s deaf ears as the people insisted that they must be killed. Another close friend of Ugo and Lloyd had reacted by calling on the president to take action against those behind the murder of the four students. The young man who had pleaded that his identity be kept secret said: “Mr President those 4 boys who were killed at Aluu near Uniport were my young friends. I was their mentor. Two of them were promising rappers and singers. I am forwarding their work ironically titled “ain’t no love in the

Soldier in Ilorin dies after wife attacks him in his sleep with acid

A soldier attached to the Supply and Transport Unit of the 22 Armoured Brigade, Sobi Barracks, Ilorin, has died of his injuries after allegedly been bathed in his sleep with acid by his wife.
The deceased, identified only as Sergeant Kayode who hails from Iloffa, in Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State, died at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) where he was rushed to after the attack last Sunday. He was in his early 40s.
Information gathered by The Herald revealed that neighbours at Block 55 Centre, Sobi Barrack where the deceased lived were attracted to his room at about 10pm, by the loud scream of the deceased.
The source added that the deceased was bathed with the substance suspected to be acid from the head down as a result of which he was burnt all over the body.
The wife (name withheld), who hails from Kaduna, Kaduna State and has two children (male and female) with the deceased, is being detained by the Military Police, Sobi Barrack in Ilorin who is investigating the incident. Sources close to the deceased family disclosed that the marriage has never been rosy as the couple was known to be in violent quarrel at all times.
Barely three weeks ago, the sergeant was said to have been treated at the Medical Research Centre (MC), Sobi Barracks in Ilorin, for food poisoning, also allegedly by his wife.
As a result of the troubled marriage, the deceased’s father, a retired major was said to have advised his son to divorce the woman.

Plane’s engine packs up just before take-off at Lagos Airport?

An aircraft engine packed up shortly before take-off at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.
The early morning Abuja-bound Aero Contractors plane was set for take-off at 6:45am when the flight was aborted because one of the engines had stopped working.
There was panic inside the aircraft whose door had been locked in readiness for take-off.
A woman shouted for the door to be opened for her to disembark.
A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Olumide Adeleye, who was aboard the plane, relived the experience in Abuja yesterday.
He said: “We had already boarded the plane scheduled for 6:45am. It was filled to capacity, ready for take-off when the pilot announced that one of the engines had packed up. There was panic, but people also thanked God that the engine did not fail in the air.
“A woman was just shouting ‘please open this door before I break it!’. I was travelling with my wife and within me I was saying, ‘God it is not my portion and that of my wife to die’. I immediately remembered the Dana crash that happened, also on a Sunday.
“The Murtala Muhammed International Airport , Lagos, was thrown into confusion as some passengers were contemplating on refund of money. Even when another airline was ready to fly, passengers were insisting that the authority must properly check the plane, test-run it, before take-off.
“I booked the 6:45am flight so as to get early to church as the pastor of my parish in Abuja, to preach and preside over the thanksgiving service and dedicate a set of twins, which I did.
“I thank God for a successful journey back to Abuja. I was just imagining what people would have been telling my children about their father and mother.”
The airline said the action of the pilot was in order.
A spokesman of the airline, Mr. Simon Tumba yesterday said as a safety curious carrier, the airline withdrew the aircraft to safeguard the interest of the passengers and crew.
Tumba said such precautionary steps were necessary for the safety of the passengers and crew, which is part of the routine in the safety measures at the disposal of the airline.

Horror: 20 wedding guests killed in autocrash

No fewer than 20 people were reported dead in auto crash yesterday along Kobape-Abeokuta. The accident occurred at Ototo village located between Paramount F.M Radio Station and Police Computer College, Abeokuta around 7.30 a.m. on saturday
The accident occured less than 30 minutes of departure from their park.
The accident was reportedly caused by a truck with registration number, Lagos, JJJ 489XB, which allegedly veered off its lane and rammed into a fully loaded Hiace passengers bus conveying the victims.
It was gathered that the victims, all members of the African Church Solution Camp, Ewang Estate, Abeokuta, had left for Lagos to attend a wedding ceremony of one of their members when tragedy struck.
The driver of the truck was said to have lost control and killed the bus passengers.
Many of the victims, according to an eye witness account, died on the spot following the impact of the collision, while others died in hospital.
Two infants, including a two-year-old, were said to be among the victims.
An eye witness claimed the survivors were taken to a state hospital for treatment.

Trouble started shortly after Sonia bought a state of the art wonder-on-wheels for N8 million as people started noticing she was no longer her bubbly self and was growing lean by the day.
“It got so bad that she was advised to go to the hospital for check-up, but she refused saying she was fine and just needed some rest.

UK-based Nigerian doctor commits suicide after plan to marry two different women backfires

A cheating Nigerian-born GP who led a double life with two women for seven years and promised to marry both of them one month apart hanged himself when his secret was exposed, an inquest heard.
Dr Festus Ojagbemi, 49, known as ‘Wally’, who had a surgery in Strood, Kent, lived with long-term partner Jackie Hammond in the week and lover Bamidele Ayeni on weekends – for seven years.
He fathered a child with Miss Ayeni – a popular Nigerian singer known as Dele Achiever – and said he would wed them both, while racking up thousands of pounds worth of debt taking them on holidays.
But when the secret was discovered by Miss Hammond he stabbed himself twice in the chest at his surgery, St Mary’s Medical Centre, the inquest was told. But he survived that attempt on his life.
While recovering in hospital he told police and both women he was attacked by a stranger. But he eventually confessed the truth to officers – only to take his own life four days later on February 12.
Miss Hammond later found him at the detached house they shared in Hempstead, Kent. A note signed with his nickname was on the TV cabinet near where he was found in the conservatory.
The cost of leading the double life emerged after his death, the inquest in Maidstone, Kent, heard. Miss Hammond said a credit card firm phoned after he died, claiming he owed them £10,000.
She said: ‘I started phoning and everyone told me how much he owed them. By the time we got to the 10th or 11th, the bill was huge. We just couldn’t get our heads around it.
‘I work, I get paid, so we don’t talk about finances. If we go on holiday he would be the one that pays.’
The couple had planned their wedding for this May after almost 20 years together.
Miss Hammond said he killed himself because he felt guilty after the double life was uncovered, adding: ‘He just wanted me to notice he was hurting because of what he had done to me.’
Miss Ayeni did not appear at the inquest but the hearing was told of evidence she gave to police. She claimed Dr Ojagbemi proposed last October and that they were planning a wedding in April.
They had a child, he rented a flat for them, visited on weekends and they would talk six or seven times a day, she said.
Miss Ayeni, who sings Juju and pop music, said she knew about the other partner, but he told her he ‘did not love her any more’. She told officers: ‘I would call him “baby” because he was my baby. I would also call him my “husband”.
‘He’s intelligent, loving, caring, he buys me lots of things. Why would he do this to himself? Wally told me not to give anyone the news that we were getting married in April because everyone would go on about it.’

The court heard how the doctor, who also had two other children to two other women, had been off sick from work since December 2011, suffering from high blood pressure and vertigo.
The inquest was also told he had called Miss Ayeni on the day he died to tell her he loved her – and even discussed a wedding photographer with Miss Hammond on the morning he killed himself.
Recording a verdict of suicide, assistant deputy coroner Gail Elliman, said: ‘I am satisfied Dr Ojagbemi took his own life. I won’t go into any speculation about the reasons for doing so.’

Fresh bomb blast rocks Jalingo: One killed, several children injured

A woman has been killed and five children injured after a fresh bomb blast in a district of the Taraba State capital, Jalingo. Witnesses said the blast occurred in Mallam Joda area of the state capital on Friday night near the Nigerian Television Authority station.
It came 24 hours after an earlier blast in a pub in Doruwa area of the city claimed one life and left 14 persons injured.
Spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, Yushau Shuaibu, confirmed the incident, saying the injured children had been taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo for treatment.iu

• If your urine is pink or red, it could be a by-product of eating beets. Urine can also be red-tinged if you are menstruating heavily, but otherwise blood should not be found in your urine.
• Green urine can occur due to food coloring, or because you take medications such as Indocin. A urinary tract infection (UTI) can also cause urine to appear greenish. Try drinking water to see if the color disappears.

Some foods can make your urine odorous. But:

• if it smells like ammonia, you may be dehydrated.
• if it has a foul odor, it could be a sign of a bladder or kidney infection.
• if it has a sweet smell, it could be a sign of diabetes.

General appearance can also signal a problem: Urine that is consistently foamy or bubbly may be a sign of kidney disease.
Take note of changes in volume and frequency. Urinating more frequently but putting out the same volume may indicate a UTI or in men, an enlarged prostate. An increasing need to urinate larger volumes more frequently may indicate that you have diabetes.
